Had one for years , didnt have much money But I found one in a pawn shop it was Scratched up but looked basically new I Bought it for 25 dollars used some fine Sand paper and sanded all the scratches Off , I deployed twice with it carried it Through the biker wars ,hunting in the Mountains of Tennessee and the swamps Of Florida , still looks good and works Great , highly recommended , good hearing From you hombre. Yeah I’d used M-Nu to black out the shine when I carried mine taped upside down left side on the LBE. My sheath didn’t fare well so my son made a kydex one a few years back and the blade has a ground mark in it from when I tried sharpening it on a grinder with no experience as a teen. They are more strong than sharp IMO.

Well by the time I was in the guard it was a medical unit and basically it was MASH without the still, so I coulda carried a gold katana and they woulda been fine with it.....
