I've watched your channel for years now and I am SO GLAD you haven't gone all "Hollywood" like so many others have.15 minute intros, music that is louder than a metal concert, etc Straight ahead videos and good info. Congrats on that buck!! Very nice!! Damn he got into the NASTY stuff!!! Oh man... 4:50 I would have zipped an arrow through him so fast and would have been calling the taxidermy man so fast LOL

Great video per usual! There are many reasons why I enjoy watching your videos but a few of my favorite things about your videos are how you show a lot of deer behavior, you explain your setups and show maps, and that you seem to hunt the big woods from time to time. As a northern MN big woods public land hunter I understand the difficulty of bagging a nice buck, let alone seeing animals. It’s great to see videos in these habitats! Great camera work and great shot too! Well done!

Enjoy your videos. What time is legal shooting time at dawn and dusk? In La, MS, AL, TX, & even Kansas, it’s a half hour before/after sunrise/sunset, not long before dark. Congratulations!
@DIYSportsman Жыл бұрын
This state is 30min before sunrise and 20min after sunset, but most of the other states I hunt go to 30min after sunset like yours. Practically it varies so much because early season under a tree canopy it gets dark before last light, but late season with snow and moonlight you can make out deer well after shooting light.
@dennispalmer86222 жыл бұрын
Nice buck! Way to honor the legal time slot. Heard shooting at 12:30 am a few weeks back. "Really"? some people makes their own rules. Hope you didn't have to drag too far. That is a jungle and then some. Congratulations!!!!
