We kept chickens for many years. I enjoyed them very much and would highly recommend them to anyone. A few would go broody every year. The cockerels hatched out we would eat. When looking for videos on how to process them. I found them always to be American videos. Nice to see this. In regards to the plucking, I'd only do this if they were still warm. Really enjoyed this! 🫡

I am delighted you enjoyed this video. I am too lazy to be prompted to pluck except for woodcock which are small and quick to do. They are so delicious they demand to be treated with the utmost reverence. Thanks for hanging out!

I see that when it comes to choosing a tool for the job, you took a sort of Wisdom of Solomon approach: "Use 'em all!" 😆 Nicely done! 👍

Mo, the only downside was that the trip had to end, but there is always next time fingers crossed.

I have been home now going on three weeks and it has rained every day but yes the Pheasant was pleasant. If I could get you some I would then we could watch a master at work, outdoors!

@@fadingmargins To be honest I've never dressed a pheasant or any other game for that matter, fish not included, so I would be the novice and you the master.

This was great, buddy. I was just on a week-long pheasant hunt at my dad's farm, and guess which knives I was using?? A 110, a 113, and a Case sod buster jr. You have good taste, my friend!😆

Me? You have most excellent taste in steel right there. Pheasant shooting is different here though. You wouldn't call it hunting - more sport - but not hunting. Hope you got a good plate full

It was pretty nice mate. Though there is many a slip between butchery and the dining table. 😉

I'm sure you had a video commenting on the Cold Steel American Lawman but can't seem to find it (I'll look through each video again). You spoke of it rather highly as a robust and affordable knife...I could be mistaken and it wasn't you who spoke of it...if it was you could you share/copy the video on this comment please? Looking at getting one myself. ATB👍🏻 Edited for spelling mistake of the word "but" (still not sure why people on KZbin feel the need to clarify certain spelling mistakes...anyway...there😂)

Alas, I am sorry to say that you have me mistaken with someone else. The only Cold Steel product I own is a Sjambok.
