Goochs Crater no e. Named after my dad who found it with my mum in 1978. Little known fact he called it Cave Swamp Creek but it became known in bushwalking circles as the crater that Nick Gooch found and morphed into Goochs Crater. Then after his death is 2003 officially named Goochs crater by NSW geographical names board. Absolutely stunning spot.

Another great episode guys. Content quality getting better and better. True genuine banter, tough driving without being over the top. Loving the patrols all round. Maybe another ifs build in future, just so you can show that side of 4wding as well. Keeping it relatable to all those watching. Great video. Loved the adventure! Lithgow doesn't get the same credit as some of the 4x4 tracks around the place. It is great, with something for everyone (hard tracks, easy tracks, views, etc). We continue to go back and find new challenges to conquer.

Pipeline, powerline track up to moon rock, Captain billy's, spanish steps were great weekend fun tracks (at night was fun) after work on your way to your camp spot of choice 20+ years ago. Seeing a chicken track up the left side of moon rock makes me realise how long it has been. I still kinda miss my Patrol when I watch your vids. Loved the variety of rigs this trip. 👍

Great video Tyler! I have recently gotten into taking my Toyota Prado offroad and exploring places. the missus doesn't like the extreme 4X4 tracks but is there easier tracks to get to these cool places like the lost city?

My home ground 🎉.....as a local if your vehicle isn't set up for off grid camping, I recommend Lake Wallace in Wallerawang around 14km futher west from Lithgow....It's a free camp ground no need to book rock up with what you got only time it's busy is long weekends but you should still find a patch with views of the lake.....it's dog friendly with fenced off leash area to let them run around kids play areas electric BBQs, hot showers and plumbed toilets all close to national parks and tracks of different skill levels all information is at the info centre on GWH neat 7/11 servo.....if you don't like the cold don't do winter 😉

Hi there I’ve been scanning thru the comments I’ve got a 2018 landcruiser v8 and had a ticking noise not as bad as the 76 but on my deep inspection it had slightly bent number 3 cylinder exhaust valve enough for it to just stick in the valve guide and the piston to give it a little tap back up hence the ticking noise, thought I’d say my encounters with these engines may be some help or not keep up the good videos !!

Just depends what you want out of the 4WD really, - super flex will flex the least off road but still be good on road, - five link provides the most flex off road but least stability on road, - hyper flex is a good balance between the two, bit of on road and bit of off road. Having both sway bars in will still make them all fairly stable anyways
