Hey guys, Yes you are correct, my wife and I spent our 30th anniversary June 4th up and down those rocks and deep sand.. she fractured her left foot 1/2 way there and insisted to go on to see it. So my wife walked 7 miles with a fractured bone in her foot. Tougher than me. We had to stop many many times on the way out under any shade we could find. It was extremely challenging for us, but we did make it back to our Jeep. Please, if anyone goes here, take way more water than you think you need. The water we took and the shade we found saved our lives.

Thank you for sharing that! I hope she's doing well. Absolutely bring more water than you think you need especially in the summer. There isn't much shade to find

How close you parked from Cosmic Ashtray? Which route? Thanks.

@@mw15854 i took the longer route when I hiked that time where i drove in from the north. Next time I do it, I will do the shorter hiking route and drive in from the south
