@80handicappeople because you can pinch harmonic anywhere on a guitar but if you keep doing pinch harmonics on different parts of the string then it will always sound different and he uses the whammy because that's how you make a guitar squeal and if you wanted to know its very hard to do what he just did with the whammy with that much accuracy
