It pains me when people say this man plays with no emotion. It truly does.

Be it your post is 7 years old makes no difference. Brian plays with more emotion when he plays the music that calls for it than 75 % of today's players. He must play say just Soothsayer a millions times yet every time he plays it as if it were the last time he's playing it. His more mellow work is hypnontic in it's grace & structure. The guy is as good a player as it gets & those that can't hear it are tone deaf. I have to laugh when i hear him compared to players like Slash & so on as there simply is no comparison & comparisons are stupid anyway. Truth be know if you had to well Brian could play anything Slash could but not the other way around . Not a stab at Slash just the simple truth.

People also say Yngwie plays with no emotion either, which is crazy. They also love Paul Gilbert, who is much more mechanical than the other two, just because he's "humble". Go figure.
