This is the ultimate display of bucketheads virtuosity He saved all he had for his mom

Been playing for close to 20 yrs and I just can’t fathom to where his talent came from A complete anomaly The fact not many even know of him really shows how shite the music that gets rammed down the general publics throat really is. This type of thing will die soon. People won’t truly experience anything that’s taken dedication and sacrifice. Most will consume shit and like it This piece of music is genuinely a masterpiece. There isn’t much music that hits me as hard as this My mum passed away in October and I have had just waves of grief. The solo from the 15.00 mark literally just brought me to tears 😢 Music is supposed to spark an emotional response. Good or bad. It’s supposed to move you. Make you feel alive This does much more than that. I’m a 38 yr old meat head soldier in the British army One of the things I don’t do is cry For weeks it’s like it’s been locked in me and iv just wanted to get it all out Well this morning this caught me out I’m in absolute tears It’s like therapy. I hope my neighbours like it because I have it on full whack on my HS7 monitors 😂 Someone called slash once said there isn’t any feeling in his music 😂 I can certainly tell you none of his music could have done this to me I feel like iv been on a rollercoaster of emotions for the last few months and I can’t help but feel that is exactly how he felt making this. It takes you through it all The ability to articulate that shows exactly his genius I think the song title just hits me alone. I wish I could just give her a hug and hold her I wish I could have told her how much I love her. If you’re reading this - go give your mum a hug and tell her you love her more often. My mum died at 59 from covid. Life is delicate and will pass before you. You run out of tommorows When they are gone you cannot do it ever again Take my advice - iv been away for the last 16 years Pursuing my army career and the time I have missed with loved ones isn’t worth it. I was deployed when I found out she had died from respiratory failure at only 59. I’d give up my whole career to just be able to smile at her and tell her I love her. I’m never home and iv been all over the world. Done tours everywhere and I’d give it all up to have that time. There’s nothing more worthwhile than letting the people who love you the most know that you love them. Please take my advice and tell your parents you love them as much as you can. You never know when they will no longer be here. I can tell you it hurts. You don’t realise how much until it happens This world is full of distractions these days that will lead you into busy lives and you will forget about what truly matters Make sure you do it while your able to see and hear their response

First, thank you! It could not have been said better. Thank you for your service and sacrifice! Thank you for reminding all of us that time is and will always be our most precious commodity! Can’t buy it, can’t sell it and damn sure can’t get it back! I’m sure your mom is extremely proud of you and glad the best guitarist in the world made you write such a beautiful wake up call to all of us! Sleep well soldier and keep that chin up! From us here 🇺🇸 to 🇬🇧

Absolutely mate , I’m a metalcore dude ( grew up in that period ) always loved the ability to have heavy and melodic together. This is something else though. There is nothing else like it and likely won’t be. A truly amazing journey this piece of music is. He is genius. Music without words but you feel the words is how I describe buckethead. Truly amazing
@stoni59244 ай бұрын
Not on my list. he is a great songwriter who puts out very nice, melodic tracks but its not that hard to play. some parts are fast but if you have a look at other metal/rock guitarists, they all can play fast and clean legatos. He hasnt influenced other guitarists or created a new sound. So on my list he cant be above people like Hendrix who influenced a whole generation of musicians and played far more complicated stuff. Switching from straight 1/16 to triplets to heavy blues shuffle which is far more difficult to replicate in my opinion. great songwriter - yes insane amount of good tracks - yes best guitarist ever - no

@@stoni5924 I don't know how many guitarists Buckethead has influenced, but probably not that many since he's unknown to most people and doesn't exactly do much to promote himself. However, I would still say he's the greatest of all time. Whether he's also the best at playing, I don't know.

As an old jazz/fusion/blues player who grew up when 'Clapton was god,' looks like I'm going to die when Buckethead is god. 👍 To say this man's guitar playing is truly astonishing, would be an understatement. So aliens do exist. 🤔

Buckethead is doing what Jimi Hendrix explained to Peter tork (Monkeys) n last conversation. Peter tork was frustrated, hendrix wasn’t being happy self. Peter tork finally said ‘cmon Jimi! What is it, you really want to do”. Hendrix drifted looking down, and said ‘To paint pictures of earth n space with music’.
