I think this is the best Hendrix tribute I have seen ever. Guitar keeps playing, on feedback by itself - like Hendrix would do and he parts the stage, leaving it to Hendrix - it's his signature on the stage... what an amazing performance.

I love how Buckethead pauses to give props to the grooves! He is so amazingly rhythmically inclined. Hats (buckets) off to Brian!

The solos and intricacies on all of these songs are just a small taste of Buckethead's feel, emotion and dynamic playing. I laugh at people like you who listen to sample size Buckethead soundbytes and attempt to talk as if you know anything. you can't overstate just how much of an impact hendrix made on the world of electric guitar. people on youtube will argue endlessly over who is the #1 guy (if there is such a thing). but when all is said and done, clapton, page, beck, yngwie, van halen, paul gilbert, shawn lane, satch, and big B all go to bed wearing their jimi hendrix pyjamas

theycallmejpj i think what especially made hendrix' guitar playing so great was the fact that he was very experimental so are buckethead and other guitarists and i think that was one of the biggest influences hendrix had on other guitarists

There's great guitarist, phenomenal, legendary (jimi) but then there's bucket head.. He's the greatest that's ever played. It's his lack of an image and being famous that don't get him the respect as the greatest. Don't even give me the "he doesn't have soul" argument. That's bullshit.. Clearly Buckethead is not a ginger..

Jimi is probably turning over, we all have our favorite guitarist and he is not mine..
Dear Clegg of the Jeffs persuasion. I am sure Head of the apparent Buckets has a proclivity for kicking ass, and is predisposed to the kickment of the ass part. Although his Hendrix is lacking in Hendrixness, he just kicks ass. Simply by doing Hendrix songs he has won a tad of my attention. He still makes me nervous. The get up is frightening my subconscious.
