big sur moon is such an exceptional way to start the show. he is so technically talented but does not let that get in the way of putting feeling and emotion in his playing. the bucket gimmick serves to put his playing front and center which just makes it even more special. i didn't "get" this guy until i saw him live. what a special human.

Thank you for posting the best night of my life ❤ I’ve been listening to Buckethead for almost 12 years now, and I lived in a country far away, so seeing him live was a literal dream for me. I’m currently in the US, and when I woke up to a notification that he was playing in LA, I bought the ticket without even looking at the date, time, venue or anything, and I’ve been waiting anxiously ever since, and during the wait, the vast majority of what I listened to was Buckethead. Concert day, on the drive to LA, I had the BIGGEST smile on my face whilst stuck in two hour traffic while, of course, listening to Buckethead. During the concert I had the most surreal experience ever, I could not believe that I was witnessing my favorite artist LIVE!! and I know that nothing will ever top this special night. Thank you for posting this video, I’m sure it’ll become my most watched video ever. O yea and I had the BIGGEST smile on my face on the way home while also listening to this absolute LEGEND! ❤

The best part about filming these is comments like yours and like you, I get to relive this concert and memory over and over again like all the videos I take usually go to concerts with one of my kids or friends and I’m an old man I should say older man and I can’t go to concerts. I’ll have a nice of memories on KZbin.

@@LiveRockMusic YES! Filming concerts can be a controversial topic, my position on it is that if you're making a sincere effort to capture the best recording possible (yours is great) with whatever you've got, and are going to upload for others to enjoy, FILM AWAY. Be as respectful as you can about not interfering with anyone else's enjoyment (turn down the screen brightness, NO FLASH, try not to obstruct any more of the view immediately behind you than absolutely necessary, and for the love of God... LANDSCAPE MODE!) but shows should be documented! You never know when something historic is going to happen, there are many many people in parts of the world or in situations that prevent them from being at a show in person, and it's fun to be able to relive these awesome experiences from time to time! Love that I found your channel, I like the format so far!

I stayed in California a few extra days so that I could finally see him live after like 15 years of listening to him, and it was more than worth it! It's hard to appreciate just how good he actually is until you're standing in front of him watching him change playing styles seamlessly during he songs. All the theatrics of it really just add to the experience. I'm really happy I got to see him with the backing band too, they were really good, and I think everyone played off each other nicely. It might honestly be my favorite concert that I've been to, everything about it just made it entertaining and memorable. My only complaint would be how late it started. Standing in one place for so long was brutal on my feet and legs after such a busy week leading up to it. Someone even passed out not that far from where I was like 10 minutes before Buckethead came on. The wait was more than worth it though.
