Everyone should realize this.... Buckethead is our modern day Beethoven with a six string guitar and his effects pedals....

I want him to do more of this I want him to do more of that I wish he would do this I wish he would do that Why did he do this Why did he do that He should do more of this He should do more of that I want another album like that one and other stuff and also WHY do people go through his albums and tracks and listen to EVERY NOTE, EVERY RIFF, EVERY SOLO to see if there’s repetition and say....... I don’t know why did that he shouldn’t have do that he should have done this instead that track sounds like that track that album sounds like that album he’s done this before he’s done that before he’s repeating himself BLAH, BLAH, BLAH FUCKING BLAH look, everyone it’s HIS FUCKING MUSIC ITS HIS and ONLY HIS........NOT OURS it’s HIS he’s IN CHARGE he’s THE BOSS he’s the DECISION MAKER with WHAT ALBUMS and MUSIC he does cos that’s UP TO BUCKETHEAD......it’s NOT UP TO US cos the BOTTOM LINE is it’s HIS MUSIC, if you DONT LIKE something he’s done DOESNT MEAN he’s done something WRONG and he SHOULDNT HAVE DONE IT again, it’s HIS MUSIC.........NOT OUR MUSIC, so please, please, please LEAVE HIM ALONE to COMPOSE WHATEVER MUSIC HE WANTS TO COMPOSE

Jordan Vine I don’t see many people complaining hardly ever about buckethead. Almost every comment on him unlike the rest of KZbin is huge thanks and praise. And thanks Buckethead for signing my guitar at House of Blues Houston. Man you are the absolute best guitarist that has ever walked this planet!!! Wait...... you are from this planet aren’t you?

The drums and bass in the pikes are programmed or played? If they are played is him playing or there are other musicians? It seems very hard to me one can record an album a week with a full band. It would be easier for a multi instrumentalist
@waisinet7 жыл бұрын
They are programmed.
@nagualnazgul31017 жыл бұрын
+waisinet thanks, very well programmed :)
@aalgebra7 жыл бұрын
To all the people who say the drums are programmed, I'm curious why you think this is so? Josh Freese has stated in an interview that Buckethead plays the drums and is a very good drummer. There is enough nuance in some of these drum parts (change in dynamics, ghost notes, etc.) that it would be faster for a person who plays the drums to just play the parts as opposed to programming them. Having said that, it seems like he is using a set of MIDI drums (e.g., Roland V drums) and seems to stick with 5-6 different kits, and it also wouldn't surprise me if he does some cutting/pasting of some of these parts in his DAW. Still, I would like to see the evidence that these parts are programmed as is being frequently claimed.

+abstract algebra yep, I was thinking to this composition/recording flow. First a simple drum loop, second step adding the rhythm guitar, then bass, then the melodic and solo guitars and eventually, the complex drums, played with a midi drums, take the place of the initial drums loop. All played by him. But I don't know if he can play everything like, for example, Andrea Braido could do. Anyway, is not so important, the pikes are good to listen to and that's enough for me ;)

www.danmonti.com/discography.htm Dan Monti is credited for mixing - maybe he did the drums too.

blazejecar wow. just listened to merbowz. terrible. not music. its noise and static.
@blazejecar7 жыл бұрын
it's a genre called "noise". Buckethead experimented with it before too I think. It's....very eccentric, seen as an experimental genre where they try to find a middle ground between sound and music. This also isn't the worst genre out there XD but it IS very old, noise "music" has been around for 100 years now idk, it's just something for like 5 music snobs to fap to who can name more obscure genres XD
