Wow, this video is absolutely mesmerizing! Watching the John Deere X9 1100 Combines in action is like witnessing the peak of agricultural innovation. The precision, the sheer power, and those 24-row corn heads cutting through the field-it’s a perfect symphony of efficiency and technology. John Deere machines are truly in a league of their own, making farming both impressive and inspiring. This harvest scene, with the wind turbines in the background, feels like the future of farming in full force! Can’t get enough of seeing these green giants at work! 🚜🌽💚

I tell you what, that field is turning out some kind of corn. Looks like they need more trucks hauling away from the field. Great video Mike. I like how clean the field looks after the combines run over it no raggedy stalks sticking up everything is mowed down nice and neat

Great video of the Indiana corn harvesting. I'm a Big fan of those JD X9's that just devour corn. The bushels per acre seemed to be very high! Definitely a lot of acreage out West. Thanks again Mike for sharing another great video! Cheers from the 1st state of Delaware.

The corn harvesters resemble mighty athletes, relentlessly powering through their work without a hint of exhaustion. The entire cornfield feels alive, like a vast, thrilling worksite buzzing with excitement and energy, as if every part of it is bursting with life and purpose.

My neighbor runs three X9's on corn. He has 16,000 acres of corn I heard. He has 20 semis moving the corn. 10 to the bins & 10 hauling dry corn to town. A pretty impressive sight to see all those machines in the same field. It looks to me like they need at least one more cart & a few more semis to keep the combines running.

Another impressive video from you Mike and thanks for it. More trucks would have helped to smooth out the flow. Wide span machinery like those 24 row cornheads switches me on as I'm sure that it does the same for others.

That's a heckuva operation they could use another semi and hopper to keep everything going without stopping very impressive from when I started on the farm with a no cab corn sheller to helping a buddy doing 8 rows at a time.

From an Engineering perspective I think this is as big as you can go in heads, the combine would be massive to handle more as the storage becomes and issue, also the discharge auger would have to be twice the diameter as you can only move product through the auger so fast. This business definitely needs a third cart. You can see from the drone footage that the discharge is already an issue. Its a long way from 2 row to 24 row. These are monsters.

In the United States, it’s fairly common for large farms to have grain drying facilities. This allows them to be much more flexible with harvesting schedules.

Those two 2500 bu / 70 ton grain carts when full are packing down a lot of hard ground, probably more so than if the semis were running along side the combines at about half the weight of the carts. With a third of a load left in the cart going back to the combine for a dump does not make sense. As well, less grain augering would mean less fines in the corn.
@jasonbrown2060Ай бұрын
