so my grandma lives in that area and i have seen this farms equipment quite a lot growing up but if i remember correctly it was either this farm or one close by that had a combine burn down about 15 years ago and you could see the fire from miles away

Seems like a waste of resources tedding the wheat rather than having the combine disperse, then rake it into windrows. What am I missing?

I explained why they ted it out in the video. The straw goes to a company that makes straw mats and tedding it shakes some of the dirt and chaff out of the straw and a premium is paid for this.
