❤😊VERY NICE VIDEO OF THE OLD TRACTORS AND PLOWS ❤😊

We had a 6 bottom plow on the family farm. It was pulled by an international harvester 1566. The plow was sold for scrap 2 years ago. Plows are almost unheard of now due to trying to prevent soil erosion. Neat video.

The way you’ve captured the timeless beauty of these vintage tractors really brings history to life. It’s like stepping back in time and seeing these machines in their element! 😘😘😘

That old John Deere platform (Gang Plow) behind the steam engine was pretty awesome, I don't believe I saw it on the last years video when you were there. One or Two guys could lift and drop those individual plows but it was work, they got the nickname (Gang plow) because (like in this video) you usually had several guys lifting and dropping the plow shoes in unison (hence a gang of guys). Thanks Mike, awesome video and I agree that one Oliver you mentioned seemed to run very smoothly. 👍

The 2255 was quite a site. Not sure she was my favorite, but I'll concede to your thinking she was the belle of the ball! Correct me if I'm wrong, but that John Deere Wagner had a Detroit Diesel in it didn't it? HaHa! How would I know that?!! That Cockshutt 40 had that familiar Cockshutt whine. It's in the drive train somewhere. I remember it in Dad's 540s he had. He ran those older Cockshutts before I was old enough to help out. He then had a couple John Deere, then he picked up some old Olivers a 66, 77, 660, & 770. I thought I was in heaven when he picked up a 1650 diesel. Many many years ago! Thanks Mike. So many tractors that spur memories!

I was there. That 620 with double USA flags had the coolest sticker I’ve ever seen. “I’d rather be dead, than have red in my shed”. You think brand loyalty isn’t real!!

And that’s the kind of thinking that killed off IH. Rather than innovating and advancing as JD was doing, IH stayed with their, until then, loyal red fans that had gone on buying warmed over versions of the M and, when IH finally did start innovating, the farm economy had tanked. Nobody was buying much of anything. Bad luck played a roll but complacency is what killed IH. Shame to because the very innovative 88 series of tractors would really sell under different circumstances. As it turned out JI Case had those very innovative tractors laid in their lap but could only think of repainting their existing tractors red and ignored the gift they were given.

Love the sound from john deere 8020 with detroit diesel 6-71 and popping deere and all tractor with an operator friend we are desperately looking for a 5500 steiger v12 detroit diesel and an 8020 because ours is ruined and next year in France in Alsace we are organizing an event for the 100th anniversary of this friend's operation
