Awesome! Those heat deflectors look quite useful!! The top gets hot enough to cook on, but is it meant to be a cooking surface?

Yep! It is built with heating AND cooking as the purposes. I wish I would have done a quick demonstration to show something simple like hash and eggs being cooked on it, hash and eggs is a staple breakfast when I go camping, so it would've been perfect to make some in this video :) The only thing you have to keep in mind is that if the glass gets wet while in use, it can break, so if you're say, boiling water, you want to keep an eye on it, so it doesn't boil over.

Honestly I'm not sure, there are probably others out there that you could use, but I haven't tried them so I can't really give an advice on them, plus this one is actually made specifically for tents from RBM, so you know you'd be in good hands using it.

Nice stove but do not like the flu up front. I could not use in any of my other hot tents. Expensive to just use in a RBM tent.
