The message that pops up with my alarm in the morning says "BE KIND" . It is the very first thing I see when I wake up. Even though I continue to have my struggles, I believe that every time I wake up and see that message and start my day with that mentality I am improving my life and hopefully the lives of everyone around me. Buckin,you are the main reason for me to have decided to change my outlook and actions. I started watching your videos to learn about tree work but I didnt know it would influence me to finally want to change entire life and become the best person I can. Thank you so much

Some one busted into my shop and took my 460 and 660 and I needed to cut firewood so I went to the nearest place and grabbed what I could afford a small husky and I love it but I got a ton of large oaks to cut up and soon as I can save the money I'm going to order one of those. your videos sold me lol

Billy if you haven’t done it yet, DO IT. I just picked one of these up today because I needed, well really wanted something with more power. I ran a gallon of the husqvarna fuel through it just cutting logs seating the rings at 1/4 1/2 throttle. After I finished breaking it in I let her eat and holy cow man, I’m selling my 461 so I can get this saw worked. It’s an animal brother. The best part is it starts so easily. 3 pulls even brand new. After its run for a bit it’s 1 pull no choke even after sitting for 40 minutes. Husqvarna really did something with these 572’s man. I’m gonna have to see if I can’t take some videos myself. This saw gets me excited. Something I haven’t felt working a saw in a hot minute. I WANT to pick this thing up. It’s dark out and I still wanna go cut 😂

I'm a new subscriber! I just found your channel. Man...I love it! My first job was splitting wood when I was 15. Then I worked at a sawmill for 20 years. I would of still been there if they hadn't closed down. I worked my way up from stacking lumber to a Sawyer. And everything else in between. I would saw the logs into lumber. And even helped work on the band saws. They were 47 1/2 feet long, 12 inches wide and had 282 teeth. Miss that kind of work! It was hard! But...man I was strong as a bull. What is left of me is still strong! But...I'm 52 now. I did alot of stupid things thinking I was superman! lol. I'm on disability now because of it. But...man, I would give anything to do it all over again. I'm so glad I found your channel. This Bama man thanks you! For all that you do. 😊😊👍👍👊👊💪💪

This is all Greek to me, I have not used a chain saw in my life. I think that at my age, I don't need another hobby and or trade. The video was a great informative lesson, thanks to Billy, again, you have made me a believer that you are at the top of your trade. The two Axe's are beautiful, they seem to do the splitting job great. Either would be an asset in gathering firewood. However; here in SE Louisiana, I don't use more than one cord of firewood during our mild winters, our fireplaces are used for enjoyment, not heating. Jona did a beautiful forging job on the Axe bit/head, it will make a fine Axe in end.

@wednesdar4524 жыл бұрын
Second comment here... If Mr. Walker can get one, running the new Stihl 500i vs. that 572 would be a good test. Stihl pretty much released the 500i to make it's 462 obsolete. The power to weight ratio of the new fuel injected saw pretty much spanks the old technology. In any case, that would be a true test of each brand's current top of the line saw, although the 462 would be much closer in power to that 572.

Not putting the saw down, had a guy that worked for me that had one and he loved it. The saw really seemed to cut, but with my experience Husqvarna saws seem to flat bog to a stop with no chance to recover rpm. I'm a Stihl fan but have many Husqvarna saws up to the 3120. Pro saws only no matter what brand you like, everyone has to compete in the economy market.

That 572 is an animal in its element. However, I know it'd take some getting used to as I'm also more accustomed to saws with more bottom, and prefer that style of power delivery normally. I ran a stihl 038avs a lot along with an 034av and now run a echo 590 muffler modded and a muffler modded 394, so going to a screamer with less bottom would be very different. I feel that this is why the ms500i has such high praise because it has the screaming traits but also has bottom end that the 462 and 572 don't have so much of. Even though several tests where all 3 saws wear the same bar and chain typically puts the 500i in last place when self feeding alone. I'd guess that anything more than self feeding the results would flip, as well as when you get closer to needing a sharpening. Albeit all 3 saws seem to be about even save a couple 1/10ths here and there. No replacement for displacement I suppose. I'm real excited to see your reviews of the 462, and eventually the 500i. Rumor has it their is a 595xp in the works. It's due, as the 394/395 platform is pushing 30 years old now. That saw will likely be a game changer as well. Pretty pumped for that update as well.
