Think I've decided that I'll pick up a 562, seems about perfect for what i do and it's in my budget zone. Definitely need to find someone who can make as gorgeous a muffler as Morgan though.

My Husky 55 Rancher I got in 2000 came with a 3/8” chain. Not all 50cc saws use .325 chain. I run the same chain size on my Ms 461. So I have a 18 and 20 inch bars for the Husky and a 20 and 28 inch bars for the 461. I can use the same 20 inch chain on both saws. The 461 will destroy the 55 all day long for speed, but I use the 55 to limb and it’s much lighter and a tank of fuel lasts a long time. I’m cutting down maple and oak trees mostly. No fir or pine trees. I cut the tips off the limbs and cut the rest of the limb up on the tree. No bending over.

Howdy mr.bucken, thanks for ringing in today, man you got both them saws just right, got to get my new 572 out of box and dresser up with wrap and dogs, first new saw in 20 years, 044-ms 660- 394 h- and 084 are what I run but the new stuff is all the rave I guess but looking forward to firewood season!! Only $2 cord stumpedge this year in the Sierra $20 for 10 cord book, usually $5 so California dreamen in the woods this year, got 390 a screaming also along with a couple 372 and a 272 rebuilt but only have 2 arm's but saw wealthy for sure but that's ok you can't eat money so will let the saws eat the.wood!!!!!lol 😅great day to yah and yours!!.great stuff as always pleasure Sierra John

Buckin, I have watched enough of videos and wanted to ask a question. Can you explain the relationship of the raker height to the amount of times you file as a chain ages? Are you adjusting the raker height to compensate for the leading edge of the tooth getting lower as your file and bringing it farther away from the top of the raker?

Nothing would be cooler than seeing you fell a 8 , 9 or a 10 foot cedar way up in the mountains.
