FALLING TIMBER WITH A McCULLOCH SP 81

Today is friday ,, Two days ago I mysteriously walked into my power saw shop, and heard a strange noise,,, its as almost my McCulloch Super pro 81 was whispering to me .... '' Im over here ,, pick me , pick me... ,So I went with this strange calling,, Grabbed the McCulloch sp 81. and drove around the corner and began falling timber, thats right falling timber with a McCulloch super pro 81buckinbillyray...

I just picked up the sp 81 for free,my neighbor was cleaning his garage and was going to toss it away, has a 20 inch bar,I ordered a carb kit,new gas lines,and a decompression button, the cylinder and piston look good,the rings seem to be fine,can't wait until I get it going.great video

amen men sir about the stumps! most I see and me first thought is 'Oh my god........how are they not dead!?' usually it's one flat cut like the first of your face cutn then an angled back cut Like an overhand (what I call it anyway) cut which would be the second cut in a conventional face..........yes you got it right NO FACE CUT OUT! Flat cut and back cut is all I see and it gives me the willys like the boogyman is after me, it truely scares me to think people do that everyday and don't know otherwise. moving on now thanks for bringin is along with 'Dave' and Buckin in their adventures of the SP 81. Looking forward to the next Dave and Buckin dump show lol

I would love for you to come to my neck of the woods and put on demonstrations and seminars for these wannabe timber faller that are gonna get hurt or killed from not knowing....one little thing that kills me is they wanna slope there back cut plum wild thinkin it'll keep from setting back, when in my experience it just makes it harder cause your not cutting straight across the grain...I call them the ol eastern ky sloped back cuts lol your stumps should be in the Smithsonian. You sir are an artist...and using one very fine tool. I grew up with the old Mac saws. My dad ran the sp81 for years. Ya know no other saw has that logging smell like the macs. Husky, or any of them...they run good but just don't smell right. Where did you get that Mac patch on your vest?

While I like the footage, every time you leaned into the danger zone to grab the camera as the tree was going over it gave me the willies...made me want to tell you to just leave the camera and get out of there.
