This video is about bucking the first log off the seven footer. It was like cutting into a wall of wood. I cut some pretty big trees out there in some of these units. That being said, this one stood out just because of it's sheer size. The first log was a 21 foot ( 1 foot for trim ) by 62 inch diameter cut. In the scribner scale book that comes out to 3,610 board feet. Just as a reference point....an average log truck load of logs is approximately 5,000 board feet. The tree was not very tall for its size, but even with being short for its size....it still scaled out at approximately 11,000 board feet.
