Friday 15th February, Buckingham Palace LONDON, UK.
Imperial guards perform some movie themes at the Change Guard Ceremony...which was EXTREMELY boring except of this.

@tdctop Been a while since you asked, but doesn't look like anyone answered so, all the guards regiments wear grey coats during the winter, and then their red tunics during the summer. The band playing does look like the Welsh guards band though since I think that's a green and white plume the have in their bearskins. Each guards regiment has a different colour plume, except the Scots guards who have no plume.

What do you mean by 'they', the different bands have their own musical directors, and it's up to them to pick what music to play. The Welsh guard have been playing a lot of Star Wars music, probably because the director is a fan of the trilogy. That's besides the point, all the music they play while standing still at Buckingham Palace is purely for the entertainment of tourists.
