Agreed. Here we each have had a 2021 Bronco. An early 2021 Badlands and a late 2021 and now a 2023 Wildtrak. Choose the softtop again and much happier with this top. The ribbing really helps. The plastic windows look a lot better as well

FYI. THERE IS A TSB OUT FOR THE BRONCO SOFT TOP. I JUST HAD MINE REPLACED ON MY 22 BRONCO AND THEY REPLACED IT UNDER WARRANTY WITH THE UPGRADED SOFT TOP.

I too live in "sunny" Florida in the Big Bend area. I bought a 23 Big Bend dual top in mid March. The hard top was installed. About a week later I removed it and installed the soft top. Love it. Well, mostly. Ford did not have any INITIAL soft top install videos. All Ford videos on soft top install started with remove the top and put it back on. Easy peasy. Not so fast hombre. You have to change the c pillar by adding the soft top plate. When I installed it the factory installed soft top bracket were just slapped on to the roll bar and wouldn't lock. No worries I adjusted it...not mentioned by Ford. Installed the rear and then the two side widow panels. The passenger side initially would pop up while driving. Not fun in the rain. Then I had it "fixed" so that it only popped out when I opened the rear hatch. We took a trip to the Orlando area so I took the soft top off and put the hard top on (it has a half roof rack). When we got back I put the soft top back on. This time when I put the C pillar brackets on I made sure that they were all the way toward the front (there is slop for adjustments, I guess). When I put the side panels in they were nice and taught. Now when I open the hatch the side panels do not pop out. I believe I have the improved top as well. I have the ridges you spoke about. Also the rear window does not have the t slot stuff that was breaking on earlier Broncos. It still feels cheap with the way it "pops" into place. Always feel like I'm going to break it. LOL Anyway great video as always and I love my Bronco Soft top AND Hard top.

My '23 Badlands Softtop is great. I think the Softtops are better for us in Florida because they don't seem to hold the heat in the cabin like a hardtop (my theory). I don't think the cabin is all that loud on the highway. Watch the back side panels, when you lift the back window, it seems to make the side panel seam pop out sometimes. but it's easy to just pop it back in with your hand.

I agree...in my old car, my phone would overheat easily...I have yet to have the phone overheat in the 23 Bronco!!!

Great video. I have a 21 BL with the LUX, so I have leather seats, power, ect. My steering wheel is thick, and it's leather. I like it. The new tops are a good improvement. The rain dripping in is real lol! I live in S FL (Miami) so I know your pain. Haha, I need to figure out how to get my grubby hands on a 23 soft top...The hardtop accessories put in are a very nice touch as well. I have mulled an aftermarket hardtop, but I think I may just stay soft and try to figure out how to cut some of the noise, like the lightbar fap fap I have from crosswinds. Great video overall and keep em coming. See ya on the trails!

I think soft tops have come a long way. I live in Michigan and had a jeep in the 80's with a soft top. Went to knock ice off the back window and it cracked and created a big hole due to the cold weather.

Have a 23 Badlands as well. It always surprises me in vids that most people don’t go dark mode on the screen, looks so much better to me. Your top also closes more at the back. I can almost stick my pinky between the body and the soft top. Not sure if it’s due to the easy lift system I installed.

I'm In Texas as well. Still don't know if a soft top or hard top is better for here? (I'm looking to buy but thought I was needing the hard top for sure for better air-conditioning in texas. Sure love the idea to get to pull it down sometimes too though! And you made a great point about the hard top storage ..what do yall recommend?

Every time I park my 23 obx in the rain for a while and enough water gathered over the soft top, it will create a waterfall near the front corner of both sides 😂

@@BuckleUpButtercupTV my friend had a 21 and it had that seam up top like yours. I had a 23 and it did not have that seam but had a much bigger side seam that ran over the windows to stop water intrusion when windows were open. I’m confused which is the newer design
