I’d value Dr. Carson more if he ran and won any elected office to exhibit his political power and ability to facilitate and make change with the successful oversight of those who vote. American voters need to exercise caution about giving Presidential power from the voting booth to individuals who have never won a political election until becoming President. Politics is a profession requiring voter-informed consent at the voting booth. Voters need to know the risks, benefits, and alternatives, similar to what a patient is given before surgery, to make an informed surgical decision. Informed consent for voters occurs when politicians have a professional voting record, achieve desired outcomes, and continue to be voted in to continue good works by one’s growing constituency. Dr. Carson has refreshing and vital commonsense for our entire nation. What a pleasing presentation!
