This comment is key. You see many talking heads in the media saying he is not qualified, but don't realize that doctors were also part of creating the constitution. We need engineers and doctors in politics who can bring logic and change rather than going around in legal circles with increasingly constricting "laws".

He does mean it. He's been talking about our space program, and fixing our electric grid since his campaign began. I've listened to EVERY Rep/Dem candidates and he's spoken about issues that NOBODY speaks about. His policies and input aren't in the MSM, for a reason. They'd rather discuss political roderick, keep the American people focused off actually FIXING a very broken system...

I realize this video was published 8 years ago and here it is now 2024, that said; I really agree with what Doctor Ben Carson said concerning our public educational system in this country - "HOME SCHOOL IS THE BEST, PRIVATE SCHOOL IS THE NEXT BEST, CHARTER SCHOOL IS THE NEXT BEST AND PUBLIC SCHOOL IS THE WORST". Thank you Doctor Ben Carson. Oh and while I'm at it my eldest son attended HOME SCHOOL and he breezed through it, he felt much better about himself, and needless to say he was an A, B, HONOR ROLL STUDENT as a result of being HOME SCHOOLED.

Wow. This interview was really exhaustive and interesting. I don't believe he said one word out of place. It was very substantial and informative. I am not an American but would truly be honored if this person was from my country. I can't imagine why people would smear someone like him. 67 honorary degrees. That should mean smth. Maybe he really is talented and well read. A true patriot and one who loves God and Country.

+7milen I am so glad you see this!! I don't know how people in this country cannot see it as well. He has a good support base so time will tell. If the media will let this man alone. When the polls go up, they start their fake stories. Thats why they dropped. People fell for it. When the media found out these things were not true they didn't apologize to Dr. Ben Carson. Its pathetic!! I will be voting for him. Thank you for your comment. :)

Most of his critics fail to listen to his goals, plans to achieve them, and methodology for reducing government waste, inefficiency and duplication. By applying business practices to government operations the necessary resources will be found, while simultaneously reducing costs.The status quo is unsustainable. Government is too big, too wasteful, too incompetent, too intrusive, and expensive. Carson the surgeon can remove the cancerous growths, while restoring its health and usefulness.

How is it that the Register endorsed Rubio, yet hasn't posted that interview?! I'd like to see what you perceived to be a more superior interview than this. Did you notice that Carson spoke for over 13 minutes straight to the first question on why he should be considered. He took command of the conversation where as the others were looking to be prompted only minutes into theirs. Carson's interview is the most watched of all the other candidates' videos! The media may be trying to shut him out, but clearly the people are not falling for it and searching on their own.

Isn't it strange that he characterizes his Neurosurgery career as "arduous", a word which connotes 'burden'? I would expect an adjective like "satisfying".or "fulfilling".
@cmhardin379 жыл бұрын

I don't think it's strange that he was looking forward to relaxing after working extremely hard at his career. I'm sure it was a lot of intense pressure having the lives of children in his hands every day--something that would be a great relief to hand over to another capable surgeon.

Linda Setters How is it you accuse me of just calling names, but agree with VICTOR OCHI, who just called me a simpleton. At least I gave a REASON why I think Carson is a jackass.
@carolmckee84569 жыл бұрын
VICTOR OCHI What is the point of just calling me names? If u like him so much, why don't you defend him with a list of his attributes and qualifications? I understand *perfectly* what he is saying,and it's mostly nonsense. He has ZERO sense about economics. Flat tax will DECIMATE the middle class, bc it doesn't take into account the cumulative potential of profit vs labor (surplus value), which results from the system of capitalism. The reason we have a progressive tax system is to counterbalance this flaw, as well as to create what economists call equal marginal sacrifice..... SO YOU DON'T HAVE HUGE INCOME INEQUALITY. Carson's plan would have 90% of the population living in tents within 2 years. It would also cause gross nationwide economic stagnation. Try conferring with economists before you claim Carson has a fucking clue.......OH that's right, he gets his tax plan from God; no need for economists. There is a treasure-trove of asinine statements this guy has made, but you are a true believer who apparently doesn't want to have a sensible back & forth conversation. Go worship at the losing altar of Dr Ben Carson and I will stop wasting my time. Carson is a simpleton.
