I've never seen that type of mechanism before. Pretty cool!

I'm glad you mentioned that new Gilmour clone. I actually bought one a few weeks ago and have completely forgotten to record some clips of it to upload here. It's a pretty neat little sprinkler and really not half bad as far as build quality goes.

Looks like a mini version of the pivot end guns.

Yes! That's one of the main reasons that always made me love the way these sprinklers work, and is why I have always wanted to find one. Now if I could only build a scaled down mini pivot to stick this at the end of... lol

Woah! Where did you find this? I've always wanted a smaller version of an end gun I could use in my lawn. So cool!

A friend of mine who does a lot of antiquing actually came across it at one of the places he went to, which was a total surprise for me since I had also wanted to find one someday but they always would go for way higher than I could afford on eBay and whatnot. If you're in the market for one of these old Rocker Jets, keep your eyes out for them on eBay since I've noticed quite a lot of them showing up for sale recently at some pretty reasonable prices. They're definitely worthwhile if you're willing to spend up to $100 for one in good working shape, and who knows...you may even score one for a really good price if you happen to time it right!
