When 2 cats spar (not a full-on fight where they're locked onto each other), the one who walks away shows dominance. It seems that with deer it's the other way around, but maybe not. Anyone know?

Most likely. Even prairie bucks are around 200 so I’d say these guys are about 250 maybe more

That’s not sparring that’s just being friendly. When they spar there’s a lot more violence.

That was a mock spar, true sparing is much more violent and the bigger buck would have easily out sparred and chased the smaller buck away if it had been a real spar. Unfortunately in a real spar if the younger buck doesnt back down and run the antlers can get locked from the force of the two animals charging at each other and cause one or both bucks to be seriously injured or die.
