For the “there’s a 100% chance it won’t happen crowd” the heat have genuinely no leverage in this situation cause of Jimmy’s player option. Khris Middleton would bring in more ball handling since most nights they don’t even start a real PG, better shooting and Bobby next to bam would actually be a great fit. Also the next big F/A class coming up is 2026 and both of their deals would be up after that season and in all this they would also get our 1st round pick in 2031 which might be a T5 pick lol. From all the teams listed to be trade candidates I just don’t know who’s signing up for a 35 year old guy who’s forced himself out of many teams who can leave in the offseason that also has the salaries to make the deal work other than Horst lol. It’s also reported Miami is not willing Jimmy for Beal so the suns aren’t a possibility.

I'm afraid trading Bobby isn't gonna fix that because what's he gonna bring back that's gonna be so much better. Yes coaching is an issue but personnel is a bigger issue imo. We expect Ajax to solve some problems defensively but he's a big liability offensively so he creates another, defenses won't care about him come playoff time. I'm afraid we need a bigger shake up and Middleton is the odd man out.
