Found my own roached out Impreza coupe, found a bashed up WRX, payed iwire to do the merge, pretended I knew what I was doing as I bashed it all together and somehow ended up with a running boosted project car, Thanks for the inspiration Bucky!

Fact check: the Ford radar patent was for police departments. This tech would be implemented on police cars NOT civilian vehicles. This is something that police officers already do (radar vehicles), this would just automate this process. Per Mike Levine on Threads.

Tech companies don't cooperate with law enforcement to make money. They do it to get the government to rely on them and prevent further regulations. Money from law enforcement, as you guys said, is likely pretty minimal. But the good will built by giving law enforcement helpful information will help protect them from laws and policies that would limit how they can gather and sell data to other more profitable customers (advertisers and scammers.) The good will of customers that is lost by helping law enforcement is more than overcome by the convenience and utility their services bring to customer's lives. The 4th amendment limits law enforcement, not private companies that are willfully allowed to snoop.
