My Daily 99 Subaru Impreza EJ205 swapped GC coupe just got a lot better looking and more fun! I sourced some Group A Speedline 18x8 with a offset of ET32 to fit perfectly on a stock narrow bodied GC Impreza thanks to GLM Motorsport and they look amazing. I also installed some Faction Fab FL-spec V2 coilovers that I was able to give a little shake down to as well. WRB with gold speedline is an exquisite combination, car looks great. Coilover for a daily driver is not a compromise I would make but I live in NY and our roads are horrible. I run Koni strut inserts on both my GD, on the wagon with oem springs and Subaru pink springs on the sedan. Anyway, I’m looking forward to your brake upgrade video now, thanks for the entertainment Bucky.

I had a set ISC coilovers on my GC that had rear camber plates specifically for the GC and there was no need for any modification to the rear shock tower bolt holes.

@@TR4V1STY111 Feal or Fortune Auto. I have the Feal's, but I am sure there are other brands out there that will do this for you. I'd email whoever your top picks are, that's what I did with Feal. The top hats and bottom brackets are interchangable to the shock bodies.

Ha ha, cheap coilovers = no droop. Learned this with my BC's on my GD that I tracked. Did it ever affect performance, naw. I three-wheeled up every thing that had the smallest change in angle, lol. Down my driveway and into the street, three-wheeled. Off a street into a drive through, three-wheeled. At least the springs can't come out. Glad to see ya building with Everyman parts Bucky! Yes, those Speedlines are not cheap but anyone can get them! Love the GC!

Get refurbished 06 wrx front and tears off of rock auto. Red paint, some Subaru decals and some clear you have new four pot fronts and two pots rear. Super cheap and super awesome

Adjustable rear lateral links, pull the rear track width in a tad, add a tad front camber and send it. Also, since those shocks are dual-adjustable, you can lower the shock body and compensate with spring height to adjust when the car hits the bumpstops. You can put the bumpstop in the way of the tire bottoming against the fenders, but you'll need the damping a lot higher to deal with the higher spring rate of the bumpstop.

I gotta roll the inner fender lips on mine. With the 17x7 ST2’s it rubs a lot during hard driving or suspension load. Not any wider, just get rid of the lip on the inside and should be straight.

I haven’t touched my front fenders yet and my rears were rolled by the previous owner. It’s too low for my liking still so I’ll raise it another 1/4 or so and it’ll be 👍🏼👍🏼

@@buckyeah3382 hell yea. I’m surprised though, I thought those 18” speedlines wouldn’t fit without wide fenders because of the offset, one of the reason I went with the 17” ones on mine. Maybe that’s just with stock suspension they won’t fit

if you hadn't rolled the fenders yet you will need to. id recommend picking up a eastwood fender roller and figuring it out. really easy once you've done a few.

I have 16 225/50 on mine with bc coils. It rubbed like crazy on bumps when it was the same height as yours i raised it to a two finger gap and it still rubs once in awhile going over bumps at highway speeds. I dont think 225 are ideal for stock body.
