It looks to me like the operator isn’t letting out on the drag brake as he’s hoisting the bucket. That will cause it to fight itself. You have to give it some relief as you go up with it.

Don’t hear anything wrong with engine. The dump block is either worn out or needs greased badly. It’s squeaking and can tell there’s too much friction in it. Machine is way out of level. It’s sloped towards the bank. Should be level or sloped a little towards the cut (pond) so you could get more reach. You’re sitting too far from the water while having your turntable sloped away from your cut. It’s not super easy digging a pond with a dragline. You won’t learn it overnight. Keep at it. Safety first! 😎

The only thing wrong here is that you need more seat time.

Sounds a diesel knock , injector issue ? combustion chamber pin hole. check for water in oil

tough to hear but its low on power. might hear a miss but its not really smoking so maybe just fuel filters?

It is low on power. Fuel, all filters and governor have been checked over, currently suspecting the fuel rack.
