Bucyrus Erie 15-B first start after a cold winter

Starting the 15-B for the first time this year. First the pony motor then the diesel engine.

Forget that either! let it run on compression longer!!!!! Then open the throttle.

It helps immensely to let the pony run long enough until you feel heat in the diesel head before applying the fuel.

Excellent equipment for dredging of residual waste pools, I had a northwest dragline, I bought it with a caterpillar 3408 engine, excellent engine.
