Pest side of Budapest in this Hungary vlog and discovering Ruin bars & pubs, St Stephens Basilica & the Jewish Quarter... ⬇ Click 'Show More' ⬇
The Magazine Hotel was such a great place, literally over looking St Stephens and a quick walk to the ruin bars and the Jewish Quarter! Take a look at Magazine Hotels website here themagazinehotel.com or check out the pricing, reviews and more details here: bit.ly/2BAa66E
Budapest is a crazy cool place! This travel vlog is our first from Hungary and covers our exploring on the Pest side of Budapest. Today we visit (and drink at) some ruin bars & pubs, explore the cathedral known as St Stephens Basilica & walk around the Jewish Quarter.
Ruin pubs in Budapest are really popular - the bar scene in Budapest has a pretty good reputation globally! Prior to coming to Hungary we actually didn't know what a ruin bar was, so today we figured it out! One of our new fav type of pubs to travel around and explore.
St. Stephens Basilica is the largest church in Budapest and named after Saint Stephen of Hungary. Inside the church was stunning and definitely worth a visit on your travels around the city!
The Jewish Quarter of Budapest is home to a lot of the mentioned ruin bars and pubs, but offers a lot more as well. We loved walking around the streets here!

I had a „little” break, but I’m coming black to your videos 😊 Once, me and my hubby, we go to Budapest for whole 3 days (trip from Poland, we traveled by night). I found tickets for ~3$/person/go&return! It was the cheapest and the best trip in our lives! I would go there again, maybe in winter, when city organizes ice skating on the lake near Vajdahunyad Castle. Buda side was so beautiful, especially The Fisherman’s Bastion. It was so great, when the sun goes down, and you can see lights on The Pest side from The Gellert Hill 🤩 Our favourite bridge was The Freedom Bridge! We spent there our last evening. And their Parliament - amazing! The history of the city is very sad...but we loved this place! So many memories came back , thanks to you 😊 You are very nice couple! Wish you the best! Bye!

Hi Guys, Nice video, I hope you've had good time. On the first hand many thanks for pronouncing the word Budapest properly (most of the times😀). On the other hand I want to share two things; 1. We don't have Jewish quarter. The place what people are use to call by that name refers to the Jewish ghetto's position in the Second World War. 2. The smell is because of all the drunken peoples are constantly urinating on the street..😪 Thanks for the visit, next time try these; kőrözött, hortobágyi palacsinta, rakott krumpli, and házi pálinka. All the bests; István
