Budapest, renowned by both residents and tourists, distinguishes itself from other European cities through its natural setting and an unmatched combination of history, culture, and fine cuisine. The grandeur of the Parliament Building seen from the river cruise and the awe-inspiring views from Fisherman's Bastion filled me with a sense of wonder. The vibrant nightlife of the ruin bars in the Jewish Quarter introduced me to a lively side of the city, while the relaxing thermal baths provided a much-needed break before the exam sessions.
