banana leaf, for wrapping *heated by fire*
3⁄4 cup sugar

Very informative. This is my favorite desert in Dumaguete and the Philippines. You should export this to the Fil-Am stores here in the US. Chantilly REstaurant in Dumaguete package this in tin foil and sell locally. Great products for tourists.

Hi different ni sila duha. Dawa is orange whereas Kabog is yellowish in color. They also differ in color and shape, mas oblong ang dawa circular ang kabog. :-)

It is made of millet(dawa)humot gyud na ang dawa.my grandparent used to plant dawa in their farm but now in the southern part of cebu I think farmers do not plant millet anymore.they just called it kabog sa north kay the kuwagnit or kabog bird will eat the dawa grain when almost ready to harverst.
