It is a sad situation when a soldiers family loses the ability to pay bills because their husband or father died, that family should NEVER have to worry about bills, especially because their husbands or fathers died in “action”, basically doing their job. The only way the gold star family gets a any help, is because of foundations, that retired soldiers set up. Navy Seal Marcus Luttrell has one, Senior Chief Navy Seal Eddie Gallagher has one, Navy Seal Jason Redman has one, and the guy in this video Navy Seal DJ Shiply has one too, along with many more. Um the VA, lol. Families get a dependents indemnity compensation check monthly once approved by VA.i it includes extra amounts for each dependent. Not only that, the Dod pays out a hefty life insurance settlement to families of servicemembers killed in action. Its various other ancillary benefits that go along with being a gold star family.
