Writer and Director Cameron Van Hoy of Ardor Pictures talk with actor Buddy Duress while he awaits trial for a bank robbery at Rikers Island. Known for his roles in the Safdi Brother films, "Heaven Knows What" and "GoodTime" opposite Robbert Pattinson, his next appearance will be in "Flinch," coming January 2021. His on-screen performances representing criminals and addicts closely resembles his real life.
In this five-part vlog series, Buddy discusses his life, career, trouble with the law, and the most recent charges of bank robbery.
Buddy Duress as a young hitman wrestles with his conscience when he begins to develop feelings for the woman who witnesses a murder he commits in Flinch.
Flinch is an alluring neo-noir drama made with an impressive level of craftsmanship. The film’s attention to detail in exploring the plight of its protagonist. It’s a little rough around the edges, but it’s a worthwhile watch that has passed a lot of people's buy.

Really great that you uploaded these. When watching good time I remember getting something like chills because of how hyper real everything felt especially the handing of the note and even the ending when Ray falls. I remember thinking that is exactly how something like that would go down. So it’s even more hair raising to find out that Buddy then has very similar experiences. Gives me the same chills feeling not sure how else to describe it.
