No one will ever surpass what this great man has done on the pedal steel guitar. He is my all time favorite. RIP old friend.

He was more than just a steel guitar player, he was a amazing musician players of any instrument can learn from. His understanding of harmony, his groove and phrasing and sublime taste, a giant.

Thank you for posting this. Impossible to overstate what a giant Buddy Emmons was - the greatest player who ever played, inventor of the modern steel, creator of the C6 tuning and jazz copedant - it goes on and on. Never to be equaled, let alone surpassed.

I've only recently discovered him but man, what a musician, what a musical mind, so humble and his playing so understated, always swinging so hard. Staggering.

Lucky me, I got to attend this and several others at the Moose Lodge in St Charles Mo. God bless Scotty and the crew for putting on these shows. You can't top Emmons and the A team players from the ISGC St Louis.

I sure would have liked to be in the front table that night. The Unmatchable Buddy Emmons. The only way this performance could have been improved would to have Heather Myles at the microphone singing..

Do not ever mark anything as Xmas. Are you a Jew? The Jews came up with that Xmas crap. How can you blaspheme a Man who died for you with horrible suffering, so that you could have a choice to get to Heaven? Have you not read Isaiah chapter 52 and 53? Read it! Your life depends on it. December 25 is called Christmas. It is when our only Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ was born. I object to Jews using C.E. = common era. Again, anything to deny Jesus Christ. Our calendar is A.D. = Anno Domini = in the year of Our Lord.

Redo the title of this video. It is offensive to me, a Christian. Anyone who uses Xmas, instead of Christmas is our enemy. At Christmas, we celebrate the birth of Jesus Christ, Our only Lord and Savior. Have you noticed more dates with C.E. appearing? This is the work of our enemy again. THEY say C.E. stands for Common Era. It has the same numerals as our present day A.D. calendar. B.C. stood for Before Christ. A.D. stands for Anno Domeni = in the year of Our Lord. Do not let the enemy lull you to sleep. Stand up for Our Savior. If THEY choose the lie and hate the truth, that is their free will choice. The consequences for their choice is eternal damnation in fiery Hell forever.
