It's amazing that Murphy managed to pull off playing 6 different characters including the Richard Simmons lookalike in the very beginning. In Nutty Professor 2 Murphy plays the usual 6 characters and the Richard Simmons lookalike does appear for a split second when Sherman is flipping through channels on his TV before having his Asteroid dream sequence. Murphy also plays the young Cletus transformation. So that's 8 characters in the sequel. If you still want to include the split second that the Richard Simmons lookalike appears than that's up to u others make it 7 characters but I still thinks it counts because it's Eddie so it's 8.

This was one of the funniest scenes to the nutty professor since my childhood when I got it on VHS tape, Buddy Love was one of my favorites one of my favorite films of all from Eddie Murphy. At 0:29 I'm glad he put Dean Richmond in his place for badmouthing him as if he were Sherman, but at least his dark side Buddy Love was there to stand up for him at times.
