You know that's not Emmylou, right? That's Buddy's wife Julie Miller, a good songwriter herself.

@@Mezbourian You know that Emmylou is the woman to Buddy's left, right? Though she really ought to be speechless when someone else is playing!

@@johnhunt1805 Yes, thanks, I did recognize Emmy Lou. I like Julie a lot, I have two CDs of hers, one of which has a gorgeous duet of a Civil War song she did with Emmy Lou. Have actually seen Buddy live with Emmy Lou but not with Julie.

@@Mezbourian Emmy Lou really is the real deal! My band does a few Buddy covers, but that's the closest I've come to the man. Little jealous!

Emmylou Harris tells somewhere about how when she was playing with them, Julie was their drummer. They'd have to empty three pizzas before each show - small, medium, and large.

@madcowga There was a short documentary about how she got the collander, but youtube pulled it. Those collanders are selling for a lot of money these days in Austin and New York City because of the attention she brought to it. She also uses a vintage Ginger Baker Spaghetti Strainer that was sold by Sears back in the 70s.

@theart1rm I love the sound of the Wandre. One can find some real treasures at pawn shop and second hand guitar shops. Ugly, cheesy guitars like Wandres and Danelectros are among the best sounding instruments in the hands of a great player like Buddy.

How can I find more music from this concert?

It is a Wandre guitar, most likely sold by the German company Framus, or the Italian company Davoli.

The story that I heard (possibly apocryphal) was that he picked them both (he has two that I know of) up at a garage sale. And as they have lived in both Austin and Nashville the story didn't sound completely implausible.
