Seeing this sent me back to your other Porgy & Bess video at Disneyland ( kzbin.info/www/bejne/nHuZZaiaYs6JZtk). I always thought he had the most flexible wrists I've ever witnessed in a drummer, seemingly evidenced by what he does between the small and floor toms at the 02:25 & 02:30 marks.

The tenor solo sounds like Steve Marcus. Odd only because the tenor II usually played that solo.
