Love it when Kiwi goes into head-bob mode, with nonstop chattering. For decades I thought birds had very little going on in their brains. Now they seem to be a higher Life Form; present every moment, and engaged 100%. Budgies fall in love with everything!

I love it when they get all fluffed up, the white eye ring (iris?) becomes prominent & the bobbing & weaving starts. Then you know the show is starting & they really jabber. I can't believe Kiwi allowed Pixel to have all that "face time" on the computer. 💕

Budgies are always so excited to talk to literally anything. A reflective surface as a conversation partner is of course ideal, but they'll make do without if they have to.

I just went thru 2 1/2 months with my budgie sick. She let me hold her because she was cold. She is better this last week but today she is her regular self again. $400 in vet bills & antibiotics. I hope you have a good vet. Hope your budgie gets better real soon ❤
