Absolutely, last 10 years has been a huge disappointment with one of the worst tax regime in India and I do not see any return in terms of any improvement in quality of life of my family. I am now desperate to run away from this country. Not sure where Mohan Bhagwat came up with more child slogan as that will result in more growth in poor as middle class is suffocated by this govt with taxes, inflation and penalties. Thank you for talking about this but not sure if this govt is willing to hear anything as it has taken for middle class for granted and thinks it can win with freebies at the cost of this nation. But I have no hope with opposition too as it is only concerned with caste division and freebies. And has no alternative to offer with a moron going around with constitution and his govt is violating it by trying to introduce language based reservation in Karnataka.

Maharashtra is one of the largest onion producers. It is almost 3 months since I have bought good quality onions, okra, or long green lentils. When I ask the vendors, they keep saying that all the good quality stuff is going for exports. We subsidize our farmers in a big way from the taxes we pay and we have to buy the low-grade stuff.

President Trump has also issued a series of executive orders to review/reduce inflation/price rise,ease of living, review of policies especially in real estate,oil , energy, jobs to determine public interest. Also worth noting that while center has more voting power in GST council, none of the state ministers even from opposition parties have generally opposed the GST rate increases. They just do the political talk outside but don't vote where it may matter.

Dear Sucheta, We need radical changes to the economic policies. Dr Swamy was always correct in the analysis of the economy. He was shunned away But RSS idealogy is to its followers i.e hindu, why merge both. The issue RSS is speaking about is demographic shift. Hindu contribute more to the economic activity. So it's good to have more hindu population. Note, hindu population growth rate has declined drastically. Please don't mix up these. Nirmala sitharaman is just following the orders, so we cannot blame messengers. The question is for BJP. Its Time to revamp taxes or its time to revamp BJP. We need better hindu party in the government having proper vision on growth.

Govt has unlimited resources to meet 8th pay commission to help only a section of society , but has no will to reduce GST, Fuel, Fares, Diary etc which helps all the population. Govt Salariees ahould be depending on the GDP and not on inflation. But Govt goes on increasing Govt salaries and perks uncontrolled due to greed of its beneficiaries on the recommendation of themselves. This will increase money supply and consequent inflation. Inflation makes products and goods unaffordable by non-Govt citizens and thus demand decreases decreasing consumption. To increase consumption, Govt increases salaries and perks of Govt servants. The vicious cycle continues forcing the Govt to print more money increasing inflation and Rupee continuosly devaluing since 1947. Our economic model itself is terribly flawed. With 1400 million population, our country need not depend on exports for stable economy. But who is listening....

Well, Hindus need to have more children just to have a stable country. Look at what's happening in Kashmir, Assam, Kerala etc. The hindu population is now at 78% officially, I reckon its much lower than this in reality, whereas the muslim and christian are rising either through high fertility rate or rampant unethical conversation. One should check out the report published by Shamika Ravi on the same, it explains how Muslims create administrational challenges when they exceed a certain threshold. Anybody who thinks shrinking hindu population is not a national security concern is delusional. May god help you guys!
