Government already tax everything else and can operate smoothly without the direct taxes. I was making jokes about using Ox - Carts due to petrol prices back in 2015. Price increase is actually more than my wildest imagination. A toll booth has also popped up on the high way. Only 3% are paying taxes to Central govt. And this is 2/3rd of all Central tax collection. Common man pays more taxes to state govt, and gets same back in freebies. The real problem is lack of development expenditure at state level. Only development increases income. Freebies just keep you at survival level. There are many wasteful freebie too. Like farm subsidies that are going to only rich farmers, who don't pay any taxes. That needs to stop.

I am middle class. My salary was 16,000 in 2014. Now I am getting 1,17,000 in 2024. Maybe youtubers are not aware that every 5 years govt increases salary of public sector banks, LIC, RBI, and for other central govt and state govt employees every 10 years pay revision with a yearly increment of 3-5%. It's the issue of public vs private sector. A very high salary increase in public sector banks/govt. whereas most private companies are not increasing salary in the last 20 years.

प्रधानमंत्री ने सन् 2014 के चुनाव से पहले एक वीडियो में ईमानदारी से टेक्स भरने वाले मध्यम वर्ग को राहत देने की बात कही थी। लेकिन सही मायने में कोई राहत नहीं दी है। पिछले 10 सालों में मंहगाई दोगुनी हो गई है लेकिन कर मुक्त आय की सीमा दोगुनी ना करके मध्यम वर्ग से अप्रत्यक्ष रूप से ज्यादा ही कर वसूला गया है। मध्यम वर्ग जिन आवश्यक वस्तुओं/सेवाओं पर खर्च करता है उन सभी चीजों पर GST की दरें कम करके जो राहत आसानी से दी जा सकती है वह भी नहीं दी जाती है। मोदी सरकार से इस देश का जागरूक मध्यम वर्ग पूरी तरह निराश /हताश हो चुका है तथा वो खुद को ठगा हुआ महसूस कर रहा है।

Rich person are buying land, showing agricultural income without growing any vegetables/crops. Now there is low food output, Farmers not having chance of land. Proper laws to protect farmers land from invasion of oligarchs/ultra wealthy. Infact Rich don't pay any tax, since they show 2000 employees in companies in low salary basis and higher profit margin. Labour laws are pathetic, Employee need to ne provided company shares, with salary or pay salary in Gold. Inflation is affecting only middle class and Poor people. Now when you start changing law, they will flee the economy. Loss for Employee, Labour, Doctors, engineer who pays high taxes. Where is justice? Judges are sleeping or busy in clearing 20 year old cases or involved in corruption. Police laws and political agenda are not citizen centered.
