Hands down the LA police gear pack is the best deal you can find rn in my opinion. It is perfect for me and ticks every box on my list. And at such a killer price. Honestly if I had the money instead of buying a 200 dollar pack that I've wanted in the past I'd rather just buy four of these in each color lol. Also loving that marine pack as well I'm going to have to look into that. Great deal if it can be had for 100 or less.

Don't know how they're priced in the States but in Europe it's hard to beat the German army rucksack for day hikes and maybe over nighter's. Great value, tough, comfortable and a good more traditional design. Things like the ILBE and some other American stuff can be pricey compared to European surplus and a good old British army Bergen is a great piece of kit.

Removing the panel from the ILBE might have been a little premature. Turns out they actually make a nice holder for a tent, tarp, or sleeping bag etc. One can use the panel to lock in the item on the face and it allows easy add-on without having to load the inside of the pouch.

+bashfulbrother also putting weight on the back of pack and throwing off your balance at least for me. I prefer not to load it that way. To each their own.

if people look around they can find deal on bags but most just prefer to go into a store grab one off a shelf and out the door. i just got a condor 72 for $55, and a lowe alpine travel horizon for $11 used but like new. i do like all the nooks in the condor. thanks for showing the difference of each bag.

Great video. I have the Atlas 72 and overall it has a very robust construction. The only thing i wish they'd change on it is the laser cut MOLLE system. I much prefer the "old school" MOLLE webbing. Such a robust backpack, with a laser cut attachment system, in my opinion takes a lot away from it's tough construction. Although many of the higher end backpacks use them, I just don't find the newer laser cut attachment systems to be very confidence inspiring.

I wish ya luck on finding one for that price, I found one for a 130.00 and Amazon is selling new ones for around 400.00. other than that it's a great pack . and why would you want to butcher something just to save a very little amount of weight when you might find it useful later on. and the thing you removed from the front can be used for a water bladder.

Very cool video but here in poland the usmc ilbe pack costs right around 300$!! Its not worth to buy anerican products here but we have our own great packs from the polish military that cost around 50-70$ almost the same as the ilbe in your video

LAPG, makes some awesome backpacks. How come you didn't mention ALICE packs or have they gone up too high in price? Just curious. Love the channel by the way. Subbed!
