Budget Bedroom Renovation (I only spent $26!!)

After selling my old bed for $100, I bought discounted paint for $18, vinyl for $18, a Facebook Marketplace bed for $25, and new lights for $65. I sold my old rug for $25 and bought a new one for $25 and sold my old dresser for $40 and bought a new one for $40. Which makes my total loss $26 for a whole new bedroom!

Ps if you do vinyl again, instead of Windex you can use a squirt bottle of water with a tiny amount of Dawn or baby shampoo mixed in I’ve used contact paper as window film and it’s held up really well over the last couple of years. Only issues so far are they slightly shrink by 1/2 “ or so

Love it!! I think navy is so chic in bedrooms. I wrapped all our kitchen appliances in gold vinyl wrap and they look amazing! Don’t knock it 😆

Because it wouldn't match her new decor, also when you make stuff, sometimes having it all around you gets to be boring, plus decor and art are subjective, maybe what she's good at (whimsical) isn't her aesthetic
