over a year ago, based on your review I bought the Wowtac A1. I use it a lot, because it is the light I keep on my desk, and I do not keep much light on in my cave. I have an a1, an a1s (my edc), an a1s v2 by the bedside, and have ordered the a5. Thank you for your reviews. I was looking for a deal on the klarus g20 when I came across this review. Having had such good luck with atactical (now wowtac) I had to bite for my first 26650 3000+ lumen flashlight. Just fyi you are my go to flashlight guru. Lol

I got the black scout survival version and love it. 1150 lumens. Used to be my edc light but the past few months I’ve had it mounted on my AR in 7.62x39. Have put at least 500-600 rounds through it since the light has been mounted and the light has handled all the recoil without messing up in any way.

Wowtacs seem to be really good flashlights, specially for the price. I would be happy with either one.

I have six wowtac/ atactical A1s, an A4 and a bunch of olights. Wowtacs are super reliable, tough. Not as polished as an olight or some of the higher brands but in my opinion the best budget flashlights on the market. This one reminds me of my R50 pro seeker from olight which I love. You would not be disappointed with any Wowtac product.

They sure are, and really stand behind their product! I have several A1S's already. I had a tail cap fail on one within a week. I called Amazon and the agent walked through a short checklist and within 5 minutes, emailed me a tracking number for the replacement. Klarus could learn a thing or two from them!

I have a similar olight. Always nice to see a budget option. I love the A2 headlamp. I do wish they went ahead and put a port in the battery however for charging spares.

I bought my Atactical (Wowtac) A1 & A1S when they first came out in 2017 and I've never had a problem , and I use then at least a few times a week....👍👍

Like the new light except I still wish they would include a midrange brightness level. 600 to 800 lumens. Why the large difference between the low and high range? Maybe nightcore will come up with a new light with this battery and the completely variable output levels? TNX for another nice giveaway.

my preference is the standard alkaline battery flashlights for my edc but now after seeing wowtac im considering getting a rechargeable to try out as something i use around the house especially with the price point being so damn affordable compared to other rechargeables

Good video. I work as a security officer and carry a pocket light as a back up. My only negative comment about the A5 is the lack of a DNA collection device. If I'm not too late, I'd be thankful for give away consideration.
