yeah I had these on my house and a guy with a $45 cordless angle grinder sliced right through them while I was on vaca and robbed me blind.. nice idea but nothing stops crime

Yes, an angle grinder is about the only thing that can penetrate them. The hope is that a grinder causes so much noise that a neighbor might help out by calling the police at that point. It would still take several minutes grinding on them to get through. Really sorry that happened at your home.

@@budgetblindsoffederalway The thing that bothers me is not that you can cut through them but the fact that all videos online and all salesman don't point it out to the buyer. I run an entire KZbin channel from my back yard in a residential area.. power tools every day and no-one blinks an eye or calls the cops. so why would someone call the cops over an angle grinder being used for 5 minutes.. which are quiet by the way on this material. I am looking into these screens for my mothers home which is what brought me to your video. I know how easy they are to breech but I am concerned for her getting older and any extra deterrent would help her get to the phone and call for help. I will be discussing the screens on several youtube videos on my channel with my 12k subscribers and I will be honest with them . I believe they have their place obviously. you can cut thru bullet proof steel with an angle grinder So I am not putting the product down I am simply going to give my viewers the truth so they know. @@budgetblindsoffederalway I agree with your opinion. I would also recommend an alarm system like 'simply safe' in addition to do what you can to secure your home or property.

What kind of price are we looking at? I have yet to see anyone talk about pricing? The website wants you to give them your number so they can call you again and again and again, no thanks! I am interested, but I'd like to have an idea of cost before I give them my info.

@@ginogomez5401 we run our business near Seattle, WA so you would need to go to Crimsafe to find a dealer near you. I wouldn't want to give you pricing because we are all independent dealers that sell this product and not everybody prices things the same way. Believe me when I tell you that you could work on the frame with a sledgehammer for hours and not break the frame. I have personally tested it.
