I am racking my brain on this. Would stock axles count against the budget? I would buy/build some but could save some money if they don’t

@@CedarCreekRC nothing against raiding the parts bin. My Defender is giving up it's axles for my build because I'm building a custom chassis for the Defender Ute and will probably have leaf springs.

It’s always fun watching these budget builds 👍🏻. I even enjoy doing it. Scratch build will be difficult tho since even stock axles cost more then $50 for a set.

@@modernart86 that's where the trusty parts bin comes into play. Most guys who have built one or two trucks have spare axles laying around.

This would be fun. I am working on an ir60 build rn. It's a cool body. I made a custom bumper that takes advantage of the body clip and opted to use the rear cage without the panels. I also did mirror and side vent deletes. I didn't like the vents, and I figured a crawler didn't need the mirrors. I'm going to be doing a rusty blue patina, I hope, and a mostly enjora build. Trying to find very small round lights for my bumper but some trouble there. Where would people be putting immages of their trucks?

@@12b_engineer we are going to post the builds on our own channels, I know I well be putting links in to the others to check out, because I'm just as curious as to what everyone else is doing. Just did my math for the first 2 weeks of spending to get things in on time to start recording and I'm at $90.

@@peterGriffin-ug7jv keeps costs down, and gives people thinking about getting into the hobby an opportunity to see what can be done using the stock electronics. With everyone jumping on the newest brushless setup using something you already have shows the guys who maybe don't have the budget for certain mods that they too can have a cool rig.

@@peterGriffin-ug7jv there hasn't been much innovation with the 24s lately. So many guys making new suspensions and chassis setups for the 4m's make it a better platform option at this time.
