I was getting so miserable with the state of Tarkov, I have to give it to BSG, this patch is amazing. Tons of content, tons of fixes, the recoil system is finally the overhaul I think the game has needed for years. Much more fun to play now, and it's lovely to be able to use budget guns reliably.

You can swap the 74U muzzle brake to the AK-74 muzzle brake for slightly better recoil, ergo, and reduced loudness

Oh yes, level 1 trader builds! My favorites since I level up super slow. I play solo and am not super good at the game, so my progress sucks. Really stoked about the whole armor change since for me the biggest issue were chads completely covered in Class 5+ armor eating my low level bullets like candies.

I just used the VPO with the 20 rounders and it does feel pretty nice. Nice thing that you can finally use semi-auto weapons effectively.

We can now get at level 1 traders 2 scopes on SKS using tapco and the cobra ekp8 and for longer range the PSO scope on a OP-Sks. It can't have a laser and a forward grip but it rocks for any range especially if you find a silencer for it

You should mention you can get some cheap recoil reduction with the ak-74 muzzle.

question Maybe I did the math wrong, but on the M4, if you take out the stock and the grip, and swap it with the adar, you actually get a couple recoil points beetter (wich uses both pistol grip and stock/buffeer tube)

3:20 You can also swap out the "civilian" muzzle device for the 6P1 0-14, this is a free -1 % recoil reduction.

btw, you can mount this small surefire XC1 on the gas tube rail for AK's. It allows you to have a light on a full size ak, which other handguards do not provide. Also, tf is happening with the handguard for Vityaz. Specifically done for Vityaz, but you cant mount it

The vpo 209 with the fmj rounds is also really good

With 545 bp and pp ammo having been buffed but their spawn rate being unchanged the AKs are insanely good right now. BP in particular is nearly equivalent to m855a1 but is an extremely common find in ammo spawns. Thats late game ammo available in solid quantities in the early game. Something I expect to get patched, so better get looting while you can.

Small Mp5 is really usefull, it''s so compact that you will never block your barrel and Iron sights are really comfortable to use. I killed like 10 people with it, not mentioning scavs that get headshots on sight. Also just like a pistols , it works like it has a full size stock mounted :)

I wonder if the recoil changes will make attachments cheaper because people don't really need them as much to make an effective weapon like before or if the price will stay the same because people will not even bother searching for them to sell anymore.

If you have the roubles you will still use the attachments to min/max your gun because why not have even a slight advantage if you have the opportunity. What I'm really curious about is all those super meta guns from the past like SA-58 or HK which have been nerfed to the ground. If you make a full ergo build, will they be viable again?

Have you not read any patch notes? You’ll be matching against other people that are under level 15 if you are under 15.

I've used the mp5k for my first dozen or so raids and it's basically as good as the full size one was last wipe, if not better.

Did you do any videos on AMMO? I am back into tarkov after a break and there is like NO ammo for early wipe players. I am shooting riot rubber bullets at scavs.. hahaha

Honestly I kind of fell off hard with Tarkov 2 months into this wipe. Not really because of anything specific, just extremely burnt out on the survival game "loadout die repeat" loop.
