@charitykennedy4020 Жыл бұрын
@@cherihoward2323Thirty dollars is a fraction of what I spent the first time I went out and started buying things for a charcuterie board without guidance. I think most people have that same experience. This board represents an excellent value with quality ingredients at a price that is far more accessible than most videos. Smaller budget boards usually look cheap. This looks expensive but is affordable for many people.

This is THE BEST CHARCUTERIE VIDEO! You covered, what to buy, where to buy it, how much it costs, and how to make it look amazing. I love the genius of cutting the aged cheddar into 4 different shapes to give the illusion of many different cheeses. THAT is how you keep from spending a small fortune on a board. Aged cheddar is the most popular and universal crowd-pleaser so this makes so much sense. I watched this video a year ago and made boards for Thanksgiving and Christmas that were a huge hit. This year my family has requested another board. I am back for a refresher and am just inspired all over again by this outstanding video. THANK YOU again for your excellent work.

I'm on charcuterie board duty for this thanksgiving! I purchased all the items today at ALDI, including the grapes because I didn't want to deal with the hassle of shopping thanksgiving week. I'm a bit concerned that the grapes won't last and I'm considering freezing them. Maybe in a few days I'll decide if that's the move considering freezing them will remove some of the flavor. To answer your freshness question, salami and deli meats typically last for quite a while and don't go dry. I don't plan to open any of the cheeses or meats until the day of. I'll definitely be making the board closer to the time I'll have to head out. I'm putting it on a large bamboo board I found in my cupboard. I'm going to prepare it before I transport it and I'm just going to cover it with saran wrap! probably wait to add olives and honey until I get there! Hope this helps and good luck if you make the board. :)

Excellent choices to stay on budget. Chill your Brie before cutting. Once you get past the cutting part refrigerate again to get it cold for handling. I’m wondering how people are going to get the meat off the rose (which is very cute). With the slices overlapping isn’t it a bit of a problem getting it apart? I’m new to charcuterie so I’m looking for anything that will help make a great looking board.
