Wife and I went last month..it is an amazing city, cobble stone streets, ocean views, so many lil places to eat outside on the patio. We had a wonderful time. We loved going for walks enjoying the architecture and of course the Basilica of Saint Nicholas.

Buon giorno Traveling Expats:) I’m a carnivore! How can I survive there with a majority of restaurants offering food with mostly carbs:( I plan on traveling to Italy in a few months 😊
@travelingexpats3 ай бұрын
@@vanessadacquisto1311 Most restaurants will make an effort to accommodate your dietary requirements and there are a lot of meat and seafood options at most places. There is a place called Ristorante Carnivore that is supposed to be good, but we haven’t tried it. I think the biggest problem will be the small cafes and focaccia places that are soooo good, but definitely full of carbs. Enjoy your time, Bari is wonderful. Is there enough to do and see in Bari for 6 nights or would 4 nights suffice?

@@purpletoo12 4 nights for Bari alone are plenty. However, there are many possible day trip opportunities that are easily reachable from Bari, either by train or car, that you could stay for 6 nights and not get bored.

Bari hidden gem? but living 1 milion people
@travelingexpats9 күн бұрын
It’s definitely not a hidden gem to the people who live there, they know how wonderful it is. But it is somewhat of a hidden gem to travelers. Many people who visit Puglia, even those who fly into and out of the Bari airport, don’t spend much time in Bari and that’s a shame because Bari is an amazing travel destination.
